This Privacy Policy explains how Gran Method (“Gran Method,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit granmethod.com, submit a project inquiry, use a private preview, or access the client portal.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, company, project brief, budget range, timeline, account credentials, support messages, project details, and billing preferences. When you use the client portal, we also maintain account activity, project milestones, payment status, and limited transaction records.
We may automatically receive technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, security events, and session data.
Payment card information is collected and processed directly by Square. Gran Method does not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes. We may retain limited payment information returned by Square, such as the card brand, last four digits, expiration month and year, Square customer or subscription identifiers, transaction amount, currency, and payment status.
We use information to respond to inquiries; prepare proposals and private previews; create and manage client accounts; provide design, development, hosting, maintenance, and support services; process and reconcile payments; communicate about projects and billing; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain security; comply with law; and improve our services.
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the business. This may include payment processors such as Square, website hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, professional advisers, and authorities when required by law. Service providers may use information only to perform services for us, subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We use essential cookies to keep signed-in users authenticated and to protect private portal sessions. We also use local browser storage to remember display preferences such as light or dark mode. These technologies are necessary for requested functionality and are not used for behavioral advertising.
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of record and why it was collected. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. You may also object to or request restriction of certain uses where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information required for legal, security, payment, or recordkeeping purposes. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Gran Method does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because no uniform standard is in effect, but we do not track visitors across unrelated websites for advertising.
Our services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are posted. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
These Terms of Service govern your use of granmethod.com, private previews, the client portal, and services provided by Gran Method. A signed proposal, statement of work, or other written agreement may contain additional terms. If there is a conflict, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you act for a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for keeping portal credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
Gran Method provides digital strategy, design, development, hosting, maintenance, content support, and related services. The scope, deliverables, timeline, revision allowance, and fees for a project are defined in the applicable proposal or written confirmation. Requests outside the agreed scope may require a revised timeline or additional fee.
You agree to provide accurate information, timely feedback, required content and approvals, and any access or materials reasonably needed to perform the services. You represent that you have the right to use all content, trademarks, images, and other materials you provide. Delays in feedback, content, access, or approvals may change delivery dates.
Fees are shown in your proposal and client portal. If you enable Autopay, you expressly authorize Gran Method and Square to charge the saved payment method for the displayed amount in U.S. dollars at the displayed monthly frequency until you cancel. The next scheduled charge date is shown in the portal when available.
You may turn off Autopay online at any time from the Billing section of your portal or request cancellation by emailing [email protected]. Turning off Autopay stops future recurring charges but does not reverse a charge already completed or release amounts already due. If the monthly fee changes, existing Autopay is paused and you must approve the new amount before recurring billing resumes.
After all applicable fees are paid, you receive ownership of final, client-specific deliverables identified in the proposal, excluding Gran Method’s pre-existing tools, reusable code, systems, methods, know-how, templates, and third-party materials. Gran Method retains ownership of those excluded materials and grants you a non-exclusive license to use them only as incorporated into the delivered work. Third-party assets remain subject to their applicable licenses.
You may not use the website, portal, previews, or services to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malware, probe or disrupt systems, gain unauthorized access, send abusive or deceptive content, or interfere with other users. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties.
Services may depend on third parties such as domain registrars, hosting platforms, content providers, and Square. Third-party services are governed by their own terms. We aim to provide reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and scheduled maintenance, security events, internet failures, or third-party outages may affect availability.
Each party will use reasonable care to protect non-public business, technical, and project information received from the other and will use it only for the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law or the information becomes public through no breach of these Terms.
Except as expressly stated in a written agreement, services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Gran Method does not guarantee specific revenue, search rankings, conversion results, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gran Method will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Gran Method’s total liability arising from an engagement will not exceed the fees you paid to Gran Method for the services giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
Either party may end an ongoing monthly service in accordance with the applicable proposal and the Cancellation & Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful activity, security risk, or overdue payment after reasonable notice when practicable. The parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory rights available to you.
We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated to active clients. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
This policy explains how recurring services, Autopay, cancellations, and refund requests are handled. A signed proposal may include project-specific terms; if it conflicts with this policy, the signed proposal controls for that engagement.
Monthly services continue until canceled. Before enabling Autopay, the client portal displays the amount, currency, billing frequency, and expected next charge date. Enabling the Autopay control is your express authorization for recurring charges through Square.
You may stop recurring billing at any time by turning off Autopay in the Billing section of your client portal. You may also email [email protected]. Online cancellation is effective immediately for future recurring charges. If a charge is already being processed, contact us promptly so we can review it.
Cancellation prevents future renewals. Unless your proposal states otherwise, services remain available through the end of the period already paid for and then end. Removing a saved card also turns off Autopay.
If Gran Method changes your monthly fee, existing Autopay is paused. You will see the updated amount before you decide whether to enable recurring billing again. We will not automatically charge a newly increased recurring amount without your approval.
Because Gran Method provides reserved time, custom work, hosting, maintenance, and other services during each billing period, completed charges are generally non-refundable once the applicable service period has begun. We do not ordinarily provide prorated refunds for unused time after cancellation.
We will review requests involving a duplicate or incorrect charge, an unauthorized payment, or a material failure to provide the purchased service. Please contact us within 14 days after the charge when possible and include the invoice or transaction details. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; processing time depends on Square and your financial institution. This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
One-time project fees, deposits, milestone payments, and third-party expenses are governed by the applicable proposal. Unless that proposal says otherwise, deposits reserve production capacity and are non-refundable after work begins. Approved third-party expenses and licenses are non-refundable once purchased.
If a payment fails, we may notify you and allow a reasonable opportunity to update the payment method. Services may be paused if an amount remains overdue. Pausing service does not waive amounts already earned or expenses already incurred.
Please contact [email protected] before initiating a payment dispute so we can investigate quickly. Contacting us does not waive your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
